About Resolution Minerals

Resolution Minerals (ASX: RML) is a resource company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of precious, battery and strategic metals such as gold, copper, cobalt, and uranium.

Resolution was founded by Non-Executive Director Duncan Chessell and includes an experienced team of geoscientists and skilled board members. The team has proven discovery success and expertise in corporate finance, business, and governance. This equips Resolution Minerals with the tools to meet the changing demands of the mining markets.

The Company was formed in 2017 to focus on the advanced Wollogorang Cobalt Project acquired from the Coolabah Group. It listed on the ASX as Northern Cobalt (ASX: N27) in late September 2017. Over the 2017-18 exploration season Resolution Minerals completed an extensive drilling program to update the known resource at the Stanton Cobalt Deposit to a JORC 2012 compliant resource of 1200 tonnes of contained cobalt.

Resolution Minerals also conducted several extensive aeromagnetic surveys, IP surveys, and undertook shallow RAB drill testing to define several high priority cobalt-copper targets at the Running Creek and Gregjo prospects with intersections of up to 4% copper.

In October 2019, Resolution Minerals, entered into a binding term sheet with Millrock Resources Inc to acquire, via joint venture earn-in, up to 80% of the 64North Gold Project.

The project lies within the Tintina gold province, Alaska, which hosts more than 100Moz in gold, including the massive 45Moz Donlin Creek deposit. The 64North Project surrounds Northern Star’s Pogo Mine which has a total endowment of 11 million ounces of gold and is currently producing at a rate of 300,000 ounces per annum.

Over the course of 2020 the team conducted a large program of regional work and geophysical surveys to help rank the top 30 prospects across the project. This work has been followed up by drill programs to test high priority targets at West Pogo, East Pogo and Sunrise Prospect. The company is currently focused on following up the high-grade potential at East Pogo Prospect and the low grade ‘Fort Knox style’ mineralisation at the Sunrise and Tourmaline Ridge Prospects.

In late 2020 Resolution acquired the option to buy the Benmara Project from Strategic Energy Resources (ASX: SER) to grow its portfolio of battery and strategic metals in under explored parts of the Northern Territory. In September of 2021 RML commenced its maiden drilling program at the project. The program is focussed on drill testing 2 large targets identified by an extensive VTEM survey.

The company has also continued to have strong lines of communication above the normal ASX requirements such as webinars, video explainers and regular newsletters to "take the shareholders on the journey" with the company.
